Dr Lester Freeman
Dr. Lester A. Freeman was born and raised for part of his childhood in Harlem, New York City, but relocated to Laurelton, Queens where he spent the rest of his formative years. Ever since he was five years old, he wanted to become not only a physician, but a pediatrician. Dr. Freeman’s motivation stems from his fundamental love for both children and pediatric medicine. His daily goals include educating his patients and their families about pediatric health and inspiring as many children and adolescents as he possibly can to become interested in pursuing a career in medicine.”

Charles H Winfrey
Commissioner Charles Winfrey is a lifelong resident of the City of Flint, and was elected to serve as County Commissioner for the 2nd District in 2020. Winfrey has served as executive director and resident playwright of The Floyd J. McCree Theatre, based in Flint, MI, for over 24 years. A graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint, Winfrey holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and Africana studies. In 1989, he founded and served as executive director of the Coalition for Positive Youth Development; a coalition of organizations assembled to remediate Flint’s burgeoning youth gang problem.

Gwen Wright
Gwen Wright is a writer, director, and actress who started her career at the Karamu House in Cleveland, Ohio. She has written several screen and stage plays and her work has been on stages across the US. She has completed three films and has collaborated with filmmakers as a writer and director.

Jordan is credentialed as an Assistive Technology Professional with the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America and a member of the Association on Higher Education and Disability. He previously served as a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and interned at the Mindsight Institute, a research lab for Interpersonal Neurobiology therapeutic/mindfulness practices.

He now works at Yale University as the Associate Director of Assistive Technology in their Student Accessibility Services office. He has presented nationally multiple times on the importance of assistive technology for individuals with disabilities, and consulted with companies to increase their digital accessibility presence and products.

Jordan also produced two audio books: “Up From the Bottom: A Memoir” by Isaac Ford Jr., and “Country Boy, City Boy: A Journey That Ain’t Over Yet” by James Cooley Jr.

Always determined to bring her varied interests together, Desi now holds the position of Director of Programs and Partnerships at IDEAS Generation as well as the title of Business Manager for PsychoHairapy. At IDEAS Generation, Desi leads the design and implementation of the organizations’ leadership and community development programs designed to connect, support, and elevate the next generation of IDEAS leaders. She also spearheads the organizations efforts to forge mutually beneficial partnerships with other IDEAS-minded leaders and organizations to scale collective impact.

She has over 15+ years combined working experience in the insurance industry, finance industry, and customer service. Facing life struggles in her in mid-twenties, Brittany had to regain her mental strength to get back on the right track for her future.
